Our Values
Before BWS Mechanical, our company name was Biini Water Systems.
Our name, logo, brand are connected to Indigenous culture and values. The logo being inspired by the medicine wheel, and the name 'Biini,' meaning 'pure' in Ojibway, reflects our commitment to purity and excellence in water treatment and plumbing services.
Skylar Vasvary
I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and solving problems, which led me to the plumbing and water treatment industry. I pride myself on delivering quality solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.
When it comes to water treatment, testing is always the first step. Understanding what’s in the water allows us to create customized solutions for each specific use case. Fairness and honesty drive everything I do—being upfront with customers about problems, solutions, and the process is a core part of how I work.
Growing up on a small farm in rural Nova Scotia instilled in me a love of the outdoors. Luckily, my wife Teegan shares that passion, and we enjoy snowshoeing, winter camping, and backwoods canoe trips together. We’re excited to share these adventures with our son, Leif, as he grows up.
Jamie Longe
For over 20 years, I've been immersed in the plumbing and water treatment industry. My journey started in Kenora, where I was born and raised, giving me a deep understanding of the unique challenges water systems can face. That experience, combined with my commitment to quality workmanship, forms the foundation of my business.
Now serving Manitoba, I bring that same dedication to communities across the province.
When I'm not solving plumbing puzzles, you'll find me outdoors with my wonderful wife and our two dogs, enjoying the fishing and hunting that Manitoba has to offer.
